Through the years, we have built solid relationships with many yacht owners, yacht brokers, marine surveyors, boat managers, specialty riggers and marine transport companies. Our mission to “Guarantee Absolute Satisfaction to Every Customer”, has kept our customer base returning year after year to take care of their boat repair & boat maintenance needs.

Our expansive boatyard sits on 5 acres of land in Point Richmond, California (San Francisco Bay). Bay Marine Boatworks has a 100 metric ton Travelift and we can accommodate vessels with a max beam of 23’ 4”. We have dry-docking capabilities for 28 shored vessels, a trailer-able boat section and approximately 600’ of berth space in our deep water marina. Our Boatyard History

In 1977, the founder, Bill Elliott, along with his master craftsmen, established a special niche in the wooden shipbuilding business in the area of construction and repair of wooden ships. As times changed, techniques and materials improved and today, we have expanded into a full-service yacht repair company employing between 25-30 yacht repair professionals at this yard. Bill went on to found Bay Ship & Yacht, a large shipyard that employs over 250 people in a state of the art Alameda Shipyard. Services include an engineering department, prop shop, fabrication shop and fleet services. The shipyard has branched out to offer additional services at satellite locations including Pier 50 and our Treasure Island locations. These additional resources make Bay Marine Boatworks a boatyard that has the technology and expertise to tackle even the most difficult tasks.
